The 20th reunion of the class of 1988, previously postponed due to Hurricane Gustav, has been rescheduled for 17 January 2009 at Antoine’s Restaurant (713 Saint Louis Street).

Ridgewood honors David R. Hurst ‘94

Ridgewood has established a memorial award in honor of David Hurst, Class of 1994. David served in the United States Army and was killed in action in Iraq on June 7th, 2008. We are developing a tribute to David which will appear on this site in the coming days.

On behalf of the students, faculty, alumni, and supporters of Ridgewood Preparatory School, we wish to extend our thanks to all RPS Friends and family who helped with our annual fundraiser The “WOOD” Classic Golf Tournament. Through your donations and those of others, our event was a great success. The event netted approximately $8,000.00 for the school, which will be used for many of Ridgewood’s programs that benefit all of our Golden Eagles.

As development takes off, we encourage students and faculty to contribute by offering resource links, audio clips, videos, or pictures that could be used on the new site. Please provide contribution materials to the Office of Alumni Relations. Also, please make sure to provide material in appropriate format, such as a CD, or compressed file(s) if downloadable online. Thank you!

We’ve got some exciting news that’ll help keep your wings spread wide! The times have changed and we haven’t exactly stayed up-to-date on the Web, so we’ve torn apart and rebuilt the entire RPS Alumni website! We’re adapting to become web standards-compliant, accessible, and packed with modern features and design.

What does this mean to you? It means you’ll have a safe, reliable, and flexible way to get important information and updates through any medium that suits you, whether it be email, RSS, or mobile phone. Getting in touch with old friends and sharing information with Ridgewood will be easier than ever. This is certainly something we should have done long ago, but at last we are making it happen.

The work is still ongoing, but we hope you’ll join us in making this place rock. Let your friends know!
